We are excited to announce a new cooperative partnership between our Federation and the Boston Federation, Combined Jewish Philanthropies (CJP) Communal Security Initiative (CSI) that will increase our capacity and build on the robust infrastructure we currently have in place while sustaining our JFCM team as the drivers of all security decisions in our catchment area.
Through this partnership, Jewish organizations will be eligible for no-cost security support through CJP’s Communal Security Initiative (CSI). JFCM Security Liaison Mark Shear will work with CSI to coordinate CSI security grants and training to strengthen the safety of the Central Massachusetts Jewish community. This partnership has been made possible through support from the Jewish Federation of North America, the Secure Community Network and CJP.
CSI focuses on four mutually reinforcing communal security pillars known as PACT: Physical security infrastructure, Access to CJP CSI security grants and assistance to partners to access Commonwealth and Federal security grants, security consultations, and incident response support, Cyber threat preparedness and response, and Training to help partners balance being open and welcoming with creating a safe and secure environment.
The grants and services are designed to empower your improvement of life-safety decision making and investments. CSI looks forward to building upon JFCM’s security work by providing additional services and grants.
Together, we can support a thriving Jewish community and strengthen our network to respond to community organizations’ needs, both proactively and in times of uncertainty or crisis.
